Tl;Dr. It's a bit pricey, for what is a small museum.
The museum charges BD$ 30 to visit their exhibits, given that it would take you twenty minutes to visit the exhibits this is not quite value for money.
Ignoring the price, what about the quality and breadth of the exhibits? This is the most impressive museum I've seen in the Caribbean. They make great use of their limited space, with two quite immersive exhibits. And space for locals to get involved in telling the history of Speightstown.
Their telling of Bajan history is a bit too charitable to the White enslavers, not so much in what they say but what they don't say. But they are more truthful than most American and British museums.
Great museum, just expensive.

A wonderful museum and the perfect escape for some air conditioning if you’re out exploring the area. The historic home is beautifully restored.They also have fascinating artifacts and well-done videos throughout that really bring the history to life. A great stop if you enjoy culture, history, and a chance to step back in time.

A small museum as someone else wrote definitely not worth BD35
Per adult. It was very nice and in a nice building. Unfortunately when I visited today the room on the second floor was almost freezing 🥶 they should really check there air con there .

Lovely museum in a beautifully restored 17th century ship chandler's. Well laid out and thoughtfully presented, it provides an intriguing glimpse into Speightstowns' past.
Great value for money, but cash only at the moment. Allow 1-2 hours. Kid friendly and plenty of beach bars across the road.
