This is our second visit so was really surprised by the lack of people at the restaurant and salty food. Not sure if we came on an off time for the people not being there but definitely thrown off by the excess salt on the mixed grill dish. The first time we had it was memorable which is why we tried date night here again.
We ordered samosas (potato filling 4/5), mixed grill (2/5; good flavor but lacked the medium heat we ordered and was salty), garlic naan (3/5; garlic flavor was great but too thin), mocktail with ginger ale (5/5; taste of grapefruit with ginger ale was unexpectedly good), chicken biryani (4/5; good heat and flavor but served only with boneless chicken), and chocolate cake (1/5; tasted like the cake and chocolate were made days ago and the ice cream was more ice than cream) and pistachio kulfi (5/5; very authentic to the taste and consistency of kulfi with the additional flavor of pistachio nuts).
Overall rating: 24/35 ≈ 3/5
As people who enjoy the company of people, today was, what we're hoping to be, a one-off experience.

Such a magical stay, the staff are just wonderful. Asian spice is an outstanding restaurant considering we own one in the UK, we are there 4 times in our 2 week stay. Very tidy and clean apartments.
Highly recommend, we will be back.

We had a wonderful meal. We started with Onion Bhaji which was perfectly seasoned and fried. The Two chutneys were average but tasty. We very much enjoyed the Chicken Korma and Chicken Tikka Masala. Both dishes had chicken breast that was tender and cooked perfectly. The Garlic Naan was nicely flavoured and slightly charred. The Basmati Rice was simple but well executed, I prefer my rice with a bit more saffron infused and perfumed but as served its perfect as a vessel for the two gravies. This meal was " set your fork down delicious" as I did this after every bite in order to savour the wonderful textures and flavours. This meal was a highlight of our month long stay on Barbados.

Our dinner at Asian Spice was FANTASTIC. Before you read on, my husband is Indian and knows a good curry from a bad one. This spot needs to be visited, our food was outstanding from a real tandoor oven and we could fault it. If you're thinking 'should we' then do it .... was really really good! Shout out to Kadeem our waiter, super nice chap and great service.

Perfect place for Indian food… very calm, relaxing vibe to enjoy delicious Indian food. We ordered 4 main dishes (karahi chicken, butter paneer, tadka daal fry and garlic tadka daal) … all were very very delicious .. very authentic… spice level adjustable (mild is non spicy and my kids relished mild butter paneer) … ordered kulfis (mango and pistachio) both were really good and authentic Indian taste! Wanted to order falooda too but it was taking 20 mins.
Note: order takes longer time to come even it was not very busy. Do make sure everything once including dessert asap.
