Le Bar des Prés has officially entered my top 5 tables on the island…and it didn’t take long. Chef Romain blew us away!
Romain’s specials were excellent! Do not miss the toro…and the beef gyoza stole the evening! The kind of dish you keep thinking about the next day. And the day after.
On the wine side, the som Nicolas was impeccable, guiding us to a beautiful bottle of Château L’Évangile, perfectly chosen, perfectly timed.
Dessert brought a final twist: a limoncello-inspired digestif that somehow converted a lifelong limoncello skeptic. That’s talent, Nicola!
Special mention to our waiter Zizou, who totally got our mood and pampered us throughout the evening — even moving us to the chef’s counter with so much panache.
Great food, great energy, zero attitude. We’ll be back…obviously.

We had such a wonderful experience at Bar Du Pres that we found ourselves coming back almost every other day!
The service was truly exceptional. Zinedine was the best waiter, we even started calling him “the sunshine” because of his warm, positive energy. He made every visit feel special.
A big thank you as well to Jeanne, who was an amazing hostess. Both of them always made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to ensure we had our favorite table each time. That level of care and attention really stood out.
We often came with our daughter, and the staff was always so kind and accommodating, which made our visits even more enjoyable.
We truly loved every moment and can’t wait to come back!

We have had the most amazing trip to St Barths and we are very fortunate to have had meals at amazing restaurants such as Nikki Beach and Eden roc.
We had a Very disappointing experience here We were a group of 10 and somehow ended up being charged as if we were a group of 20. The restaurant kept sending more food that we did not clearly order, and the bill at the end was shockingly high. The wait staff would push more expensive items without telling you the price. For example a glass of white wine they had suggested was 100 euros. Yes for One glass of wine!! The final bill was extremely inflated and felt completely disproportionate to what our group actually intended to order. They were pushy and aggressive.
For a restaurant of this level, we expected far more honesty and transparency. Unfortunately, the experience left us feeling taken advantage of.

From the moment you walk in the door you feel very welcomed. The food was amazing and the service top notch as well. Highly recommend.
