This island is really the GEM of the Caribbean, it has some of the most beautiful beaches that I have seen. The people are awesome, the atmosphere is cool and easy, you find it hard to read a book here as you read you go into a sweet sleep especially if you are close to the beach the soft rolling of the waves just take you to a calming place

Beautiful island and beautiful people! Safe,friendly and fun. It’s a must see and experience in your life time. Rent a car and explore, meet locals and stay in local hotels and spots. Treat the island with respect and it will show you an amazing adventure.

Had a wonderful time, beautiful beaches and scenery. Excellent food, very friendly people. The driving scarred me stiff,😱 fast and a few round about to drive on main hwy

It's my island home (so I may be a little biased hahahaha) but Barbados is a clean, beautiful island that's relatively flat which means that it's got a well-developed infrastructure and the conveniences of wherever else home may be. In addition to its world renowned beaches, the people are known for their hospitality and it's commonplace to get a greeting from them although you're a complete stranger. I personally love that I can strike up a conversation with anyone and that there are green monkeys that visit my backyard along with wild parrots that rest in the golden apple tree there. Can't wait to hike the East Coast, which is my favourite place on the island - no hotels with constant waves rolling in from the Atlantic bringing with them a refreshing breeze. Oh...and...RIHANNAAAAAAA is Barbadian! You might get a glimpse of her eating a roasted corn on the side of the road. Leave her alone like RH. Leh de woman eat she corn in peace.

Barbados is my home, no matter where I live, Barbados will forever be my home. I live the people, I love this island and I love my culture. Barbados has the friendliest people and the best food!!! This island is a must visit multiple times and should be on everyone's bucket list.
