The actual destination is wild and rugged. Getting to & from there is on some truly terrible 'roads'. I use the term 'road' loosely. Think more 'audition for a lunar landing' and less 'road'. There are so many potholes, craters and worse I do believe that NASA could use it to calibrate their Mars rovers. Any remaining asphalt on the surface is now merely suggestive. There's a café selling drinks and snacks. A few stalls selling souvenirs. Toilets (didn't use them so no idea what they were like). Quite a lot of smelly Sargassum seaweed on the beach today. In summary: picturesque & rugged scenery on the Barbados east coast. Assuming you're not suffering from concussion by the time you arrive, I'd say it's worth it.

A spectacular rugged East Barbados Atlantic coastline.
The sea is at it's most wildest and ferocious.
We spent galf an hour watching the windsurfer.

Our tour guide brought us here to experience the genuine atmosphere of the island. We enjoyed an authentic Bajan lunch, complete with all the traditional accompaniments, including their renowned rum punch.

Came to this place on 10/24/25 from 10:30am to 11am. It’s a nice spot to stop and take a few pictures. Not a whole lot to see - I’d recommend going to the local Botanical Garden (andromeda) just up the road to enhance your Barbados experience :)

A great spot on the East coast of Barbados. We went with Teds Tours who took us through the history of the area. Stunning coastline.
