A very very good location. The name describes the place perfectly. Beach view and wow a what a view! The receptionist Danese was very helpful and let us leave our bags with them which was very kind. Unfortunately that’s where the positives end (not the say the place was bad/awful) it was okay but just okay. Beds that were like sleeping broken wooden floors, rooms felt a little dirty, only a little. Everything was old and a bit muggy but for the price it’s actually not too bad. You get what you pay for. The beach outside was also amazing be careful of the waves tho can be quite rugged at times. Ideally I would like to say 3.5 but there’s no option for it. So all in all a decent spot if you’re going to be out and about and not spend too much time at the hotel. The only main negative for me was the bed and how uncomfortable both my nights were.

We love Beach Vue Apartments, and have come back here with family and friends, who also love it. DETAILED REVIEW: We love to be right on the beach, i.e. you can sit with your morning coffee/tea in the communal patio area, watching and listening to the waves, and if you walk 3 more steps you literally fall onto the sand. Each apartment is unique, a little quirky, and decorated with love with memorabilia and artwork from Barbados' history. For sure a "holiday factory" it is not, said with love, and if I had to give it a hotel-star rating it would be between 2 and 3 simply because of the "ecclecticity" of how the rooms & facilities are put together - but with charm and Caribbean friendliness. Anderson, the owner/manager, responds very swiftly if there is any questions or issues, and Denise, the caretaker onsite, is super-friendly and helpful - and always welcomes you with a great smile! BEACH: We have been to several other beaches on Barbados, and whilst Worthing beach might be prone to heavy waves occasionally it also is one of the quietest and more secluded beaches on the island - despite being so close to Bridgetown. There is no glass bottom boat hustlers waking you from holiday slumber, hardly any traffic at all. On weekends there will be a (very few, one or two max - never understood why so few?) local families on the beach, but it is still very quiet and feels secluded. There is a large tree on the beach which gives a lot of shade, so you can put your loungers there, or else Beach Vue has 2 wooden Parasols on the beach where you can also lounge in the shade. FAMILY GROUP: For us as a small family group with 4 distinct parties we all had our own apartments and privacy, and if we wanted to come together in the evening we could use the communal patio or terrace spaces. Of course we try to not be too loud to annoy other guests (or adjacent turtles), but for us a small group of family and friends this is just paradise. SELF-CATERING: Closeby (10 mins walk) is a Massy Stores supermarket, and on Worthing Main Road there is also Clifton Market which is a smaller supermarket with lots of fresh produce. RESTAURANTS: Lots of local restaurants closeby (we love Carib Beach Bar on next door beach, and the Worthing Food Court right behind the service station on Worthing Main Road) , plus Rockley/Accra beach is nearby and its only an 8 minutes walk to the much beloved Tiki-bar on Rockley Beach. In the Quayside Shopping Center opposite Rockley Beach (10 mins walk) there is also a Minimart and various Food places ("Just Grillin", and a Chinese Restaurant/Take Away etc), an air-conditioned ATM (yep!) and several other shops. MOVING AROUND: a local bus station is right next to Beach Vue, and I have taken the occasional yellow government bus into Bridgetown, but mostly we use the nifty ZR-buses for which Worthing Main Road (also called Highway 7) is on several of their routes, i.e. one passes through every 3 minutes on average. If you rent a car then BV also has a small driveway where cars can be parked. For us its the perfect destination, and we wholeheartedly recommend it - and will be back for sure. p.s. 4 stars rather than 5 simply because things which we would expect to "just work", sometimes don't - but they get fixed asap if possible. We also learned over time that "when in Rome, do as the Romans" - and no longer expect Northern European standards when in the Caribbean - it's part of the experience :) I do understand other people are more disappointed about their expectations not being met, but for us it just works and we love Beach Vue for all its little quirks as well. p.s.2. it is true that some apartments - mostly those without the sea view - lack some of the charm. But it is still an unbeatable value for money for a beach property and how much time do you really spend inside when you come to the Caribbean and have a beach right outside your room?

Extremely Expensive for what you get. Extremely Noisy! It's very close to the road, the local Bus pass every 30 minutes blowing the horn. It's an old house and you can hear everyone talking like there's no walls. Forget about the wifi.

If you want gorgeous ocean view and ideal location but can't afford an expensive hotel, this is the PERFECT CHOICE! This beach house is very clean and has all the essentials for living semi-independently in Christ Church. If you don't mind cooking for yourself, this is an excellent choice! 2-minute walk from the Trimart grocery store and Esso gas station. Across the street from popular bar Mojo. (Can get noisy on Wednesday nights with live music, just be aware!) Right across the street from a Starbucks if you're craving that, like I was. Absolutely stunning view of the waves right out your door...that was the best part by far. 💙🩵💙🩵 Denise (who is a treasure) will help with anything you ask: she helped us with laundry and cleaning during our 12-day stay this past September. She is so nice and communicative: we were unlucky and arrived the night before the power went out across the island and she told us exactly how long we had to wait/what we should do to stay safe and comfortable! She cares about your experience being a good one. 🥰 Only negatives: the kitchen is very, very small. Sound on the TV in the sitting room is finicky. And if you leave the bathroom window open, bugs might come in overnight but otherwise we had literally *zero* issue with bugs!
