Absolutely recommended! Great place, very clean and well organized. The owners Laurence and David are very kind and helpful. They helped us with everything from day 1 to 8. We will definitely stay here again in my next visit. I cannot thank to the hosts enough.

Beautiful place in the hills of Basse Terre North. You have your own house with big veranda looking out over the - very green and lush - hillside and the sea. You can cook your own meals in the outside kitchen on the veranda, BBQ or have the local cook cook for you. Recommended! AC in bedroom.

My husband and I are from NYC and have traveled a fair amount. We were blown away by this place. It was serene and beautiful. We had an amazing time, and definitely plan to return.

A true slice of paradise! The view of the bay is absolutely breathtaking, with complete privacy. We absolutely loved our accommodation, the Blue Mountain. The kitchen is very well-equipped, the bed extremely comfortable, with a mosquito net and a fan for pleasant nights. Although air conditioning is available, we didn't even need it. The real highlight was the jacuzzi at the end of the day, always with that sublime view. An unforgettable experience! If we ever return to Basse-Terre in Guadeloupe, we will definitely stay here again.

We spent five nights at the Tarrazu Lodge and everything was perfect. The view, the amenities, the bedding, the bathroom, the spa... The accommodation is clean and functional; the only downside would be staying too long! Pointe Noire is a great base for exploring Basse-Terre. Be careful on the access road: a large section requires driving in first gear (the clutch got quite hot...) and it's dangerous for cars with low ground clearance! Laurence is available, responsive, and full of helpful advice. Absolutely flawless! The lodge is nestled in the lush nature of Basse-Terre. Those with a fear of insects (harmless, of course) should probably avoid it, as the living area is a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces, like everywhere in Guadeloupe, and you might encounter some unexpected guests... But no mosquitoes (the worst bugs, really)! The star guests, of course, are the magnificent hummingbirds.
