This beachfront restaurant ended up being the best place we ate during our trip to Aruba—far better than the food at our resort. The atmosphere was beautiful, and everything we tried was excellent.
A special shoutout to the manager, Sotanya, who was incredibly friendly and helpful. She took the time to walk us through the menu and made great recommendations. My husband ordered the oxtails, and I had the sauced wings—both dishes were absolutely delicious.
We enjoyed it so much that we came back another day just for ice cream, and I had the best pistachio ice cream I’ve ever tasted. Highly recommend this spot!

Big Mama’s was a great find in Aruba. It’s located at Baby Beach, Aruba.
The oxtail was probably the best I ever had! It was delicious and so tender.
The service was quick but it’s a busy place so make sure you go at least a half hour before you want to be seated.
You have to pay to use the washroom, $2 per person, but if you are dining or drinking there you get a free “ticket” to use the washroom.

Great beach bar, with a wide variety on the menu. Seating was plentiful, although it was busy. The chairs are all unique, and I don't know if it was just the one I picked, but it was rather uncomfortable. Not cheap, but what I expected given the location.

The random flintstone theme is a bit odd. Food options are limited and mostly fried foods. The oxtail stew was amazing but meat portion was on the lower side— it was mostly bones. Other than that it was really great. Service was meh.

This restaurant is right next to Baby Beach, which is super inconvenient if you have hungry little ones. When we asked for water, the server brought us four bottles that were $4 each🫠 The food was okay, but it felt a bit overpriced.
