We loved Blanchards so much that we came back three times during our trip—lunch twice at the Beach Shack and also dinner.
The Beach Shack was outstanding. The fried chicken was absolutely fantastic, and the cornbread was perfection. For dinner at the restaurant, the lobster and shrimp cakes were an excellent starter, and the bread pudding was hands down the best dessert we had on the entire trip.
The service was consistently quick, friendly, and incredibly polite. The setting is just as memorable as the food—the location and beach are simply breathtaking and one of the most beautiful spots on the island.
Dinner reservations are definitely recommended because it’s very popular, and for good reason. Blanchards is a must-visit.

One of the most memorable anniversary dinners we ever experienced! The jerk chicken was juicy, flavorful and served perfectly. The carrot cake is everything and more. The service was friendly and prompt. We would visit this restaurant every time we come to the island.

We ate at the Beach Shack. Blanchards appeared to be a full sit down option completely separate from the Shack. The Shack is a counter order variation. Mostly sandwiches and burgers. They offer scooped ice cream milkshakes which is a rarity on the islands. The views are great and it is a very relaxed beach vibe eating there. We had the cubano which was really a Cuban quesadilla. All in all, it was a fine spot for dinner. The adjacent beach is one of the best ones we found on the island.

Great spot really enjoyed the food. Ribs were a standout. Everything was tasty though. Staff was attentive and friendly, food was well priced, and close to the beach. It was super busy so recommend making a reservation.

Blanchards is amazing! It’s an easy walk along the beach from several resorts, but there is parking & easy access to get to by taxi. The grilled shrimp, ricotta & mahi sliders were amazing. So good I didn’t even get photos - we just dug in! Can’t forget the cheesecake too! I love that they made our anniversary special with the menu! Truly great food, service & atmosphere. June is slow season on the island, but this was a relatively busy place at 6pm-7pm, so make a reservation!
