BLR Villas Dover Beach

Stayed for 2 nights, the room has many amenities. AC worked fine, but not the hot water which would have helped after a dip in the pool. The pool wasn't very deep, you'd have to squat to get the water to your shoulders. Also, the channels were mostly not working and it was a bit difficult finding how to get the ones that did work to actually work. There was no leaflet with the wifi password if wifi was even available at all.

Upon arrival, we were honestly questioning whether we would stay here or not. There were also additional ‘hidden’ fees/taxes we had to pay when we got there. (We were also charged for a room for 1 night and no one could help sort that out- Expedia was/is unable to get in contact with the property. The room served it’s purpose, although quite basic and in need of upgrades. The a/c worked great but our friends who stayed in the room beside us had no hot water for their entire trip- with the response of “sorry, it won’t be fixed” by the owner via phone call- he was not on site. That was quite shocking to hear. We quickly noticed issues with service. The pools had bugs floating every time and we had to request for the jets/filter to please be turned on. Days that there would be 2 people scheduled, we would get zero service from them and frankly couldn’t locate them when new guests would come to check in. On the days just one employee (Nawlin, we ADORE her!) was scheduled (she was scheduled alone everytime, never another person to help her) the service was incredible. She was attentive and cleaned rooms all day long and did laundry all night. She’s a rockstar and truly saved our trip! If you stay here, take a quick stroll to Rebel Bar for the nacho fries. They’re great and the owner is a riot!!

i have stayed at this property numerous times and every single time is near perfection. the property is clean, well maintained, in a great location and the host is always happy to help. i cannot say enough good things about BLR villas. it’s part of what keeps me and my family coming back to beautiful Barbados!

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. Here is my experience with BLR Villas which is base on facts and my own experience. On July 6th 2026 I did a booking with BLR in Dover Beach Christ Church Barbados without reading the terrible reviews . The booking was for 9 days begining Aug 1. Due to these reviews I canceled my paid in full reservations. Today is July 26 th 2026 . I have reach out to them via whatsapp because that is how they operate . I was told that the person responsible (David) was out of town on vacation . I kept calling and calling and they failed to answer . How can you run a villa with only one person that can authorize a refund who is on vacation . The reviews I read is roaches ...small dark room and flooding when it rains . I will get my money back guaranteed . RUN RUN RUN.

I come barbados all the time n everytime i come i only wanna stay here. close to everything you could want, the market, the beach, management is amazing always very accommodating no complains at all. The property is clean and always well kept. My needs are always met no matter when i come.
