Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park is absolutely beautiful and a must-visit when traveling to St. Kitts. Sitting high above the island, this UNESCO World Heritage Site offers breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean, neighboring islands, and the surrounding landscape. The scenery alone is worth the trip and the photos do not do it justice.
I also highly recommend SKN Platinum Luxury Taxi &Tours. Chris was fantastic, knowledgeable, and helped make the experience even more enjoyable.
My only criticism is regarding the timing and customer experience near closing. We arrived around 4:00 PM and paid full admission even though the site closes at 4:30 PM. It would be nice if there were a reduced admission rate for late arrivals. Additionally, when we arrived at 17°62° Gibraltar Gastrolounge, there was no effort to serve even a quick beverage despite still being open. First impressions and customer service matter, especially on an island that relies heavily on tourism.
That said, the beauty of the fortress and the incredible views far outweighed those concerns. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting St. Kitts.

We drove up the steep whining road, through the stone archways to park on the fortress’s former parade grounds. Along the way we saw several green veret monkeys. After viewing the informative film shown at the visitors center we decided to have drinks at the onsite restaurant. Food and drinks were wonderful, as was the service. Within Fort George there are cannons, displays concerning the history of the British fortress that had been built by slaves between 1789 and 1805; the great siege of the hill by the French in 1782. The views from the fortress are beautiful.

It is hard to believe that people built such a spectacular place for defending themselves. Breathtaking views and highly recommended.
We took a taxi and the driver took us all the way to the parking ground in front of the orientation building. The people there is super friendly.

This breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage site is a must visit. The site of some epic colonial battles and seiges, the history alone is worth the visit. The drive to get there is an experience all its own - whether tour or driving on your own. The views are just incredible, and the experience of exploring the fortress is magical.
Their restaurant is excellent, the bartender makes some mean drinks (my non-alcoholic cucumber lime cooler was perfect!) and the food was high end perfection. 12/10 worth the visit.

What an amazing historical site with sights that will bow your hair back. The ramparts and cannons are fantastic, and the history captured is mind-blowing. We loved walking through the corridors and renovated areas, reading about the history of the fortress and the island as a whole. We lucked out by having a driver too that gave a history lesson of the island on the way there, which was reiterated and supported in the literature at Brimstone.
