Beautiful beach, great swimming and snorkeling. You can take a tour for snorkeling (we preferred the tour as we didn't exactly know where the sunken ships and the turtles were... and the tour guides bring some food that attracts stingrays, tarpans and other fish). Also check out Savvy on the Beach (our favorite bar here - great drinks, take credit card and a great spot for watching the sunset).

Depending on when you go will make the difference. We went when there were three cruise ships in town and our strong advice would be to avoid at all costs unless you go first thing in the morning. It was overrun by tourists, dangerous with jet, skis and catamarans and really not that nice with so many people on it. I’m assuming outside of when cruise ships are there it would be beautiful, but if you have to go go early, but my recommendation would be to go to another beach if you’re on a cruise ship.

Went to savvy on the beach,lovely beach, sea was quite rough, so care is needed when going in the sea there however there are life guards, lounger and umbrellas to rent, loads of food/ drink places,

This place is absolutely amazing some people are saying this is Caribbean number one beach. There are many bars and restaurants on this beach with decent prices. You can find trips to swim with turtles and also other trips around the island or taxis to different beaches. The water on this beach it’s very clear and has a beautiful colour. Also if you like water sports you can find many activities on this beach.

Sept 2024 - Best Bay on the island for swimming, relaxing, drinking, eating, and enjoying island life. Lots of water activities are available, like sailing snorkeling, diving, water crafts, and SUP.
