We came here for a snorkelling trip organised by sandals there is lots to see at the harbour so allow time to wander around, the sea here is amazing for snorkelling trips, I am not a strong swimmer but found the distances easy to manage. The most amazing thing is we were able to swim with wild turtles, really amazing experience. There are some small jellyfish that have mild stings but nothing bad just wear a suitable long sleeve top.

Best beach in Barbados! Very calm waters and reminiscent of pigeon point beach. Will definitely recommend 👌

A stunning white sand beach with subtle pinkish hues. Sun umbrellas are available for rent along almost the entire beach, which is essential given the intense sun.
We went in late January/early February; I don't know if it's like that all season, but at that time of year, many boats offer excursions that include a visit to the shipwreck and jet ski tours along the beach. For MSC cruise passengers, if you're not in a hurry, it's a 25-minute walk from the ship to the beach. Along the way, you can visit the National Heroes Square and withdraw cash from an ATM, which will be very useful for renting sun umbrellas. Expect to spend between 100 and 200 Barbadian dollars for a day trip.
Alternatively, taxis are available all day and can take you directly from the beach to and from the town center, but you won't have the opportunity to explore the town itself.
