During a walk, we stumbled upon this place and were welcomed along with a group of children without any prior arrangements. A truly wonderful discovery! A fascinating and captivating story about Guadeloupean history. The key theme is community spirit. We also discovered the culture through dances, as well as through the garden and its imported plants. A truly special moment of sharing. It deserves to be known and appreciated. Thank you to the volunteers.

I appreciated my contact Fred who explained things very well... Even though we didn't have an appointment, he still gave us a guided tour of the place and I learned a lot.

Visited free of charge during European Heritage Days.
It's a culturally rich place with wonderful volunteers. We were able to discover the history of the indigenous descendants of Guadeloupe.
They generally offer group tours by appointment, dance and yoga classes, and cooking workshops.
Kudos to this association and the town of Petit-Canal for championing this project and establishing this marvelous center!
