Really cool spot, but getting in can be a bit tricky, so 100% bring your own sea shoes (and snorkel gear). The bubbles are further along the beach, and entry is around $2–3. We went early in the morning and had the place to ourselves - totally worth it!

I was debating if I should come here or not. I am extremely happy that I did. Seeing the volcanic bubbles while snorkeling was a truly unique experience and a major highlight for me.

Amazing. Highly recommend hiring a guide or following a group. We could have missed the area to snorkel as it is not just everywhere as some expect. But once you get to the area, it takes your breath away.

Beautiful bubbling reef with lots of different fish to see. If you have your own snorkeling gear and can drive yourself to it, you’ll pay only 5 EC dollars per person for an entrance. Walk all the way to the end of the beach where you’ll see a line of dark stones. The Champagne reef is right there. No need to take a boat, swim directly from the beach. Remember, it’s not a sandy beach, it’s very rocky. Water shoes are strongly recommended.

Street parking with a short walk down well paved stairs. Entrance fee of $2. USD. Beautiful beach. Wear water shoes, rocks are rough on feet and if you swim. You can buy small snacks and beer/soda all drinks $3 USD. Worth the trip. You can whale watch, snorkeling with gear and or guide for a fee. Not needed tho. You can go on your own to see the bubbles not too far from where the bar is.
