A world-famous site shrouded in paranormal mystery! This 19th-century burial vault belonged to a wealthy landowner. When it was reopened for new interments, the neatly stacked coffins were found in disarray. Modern-day academics suggest the story may be a myth, perpetuated by a nervous planter class nearing the end of slavery in Barbados. However, no one can explain the now empty vault, devoid of coffins. Many locals are deathly afraid to enter, leaving the mystery unsolved.

A basic vault, but still cool to see because of the stories. We went at the hottest part of the day - big mistake - or we would've had a wander around the older cemetery. Visited the church then went out to see the vault which is thankfully very close to the entrance, then headed back to the church then the car for some relief. Try to go when it's cloudy/cooler.
