Chefette Oistins

(01/2026) A local fast-food chain offering a wide range of food (tortillas, pizza, burgers, ice cream). Unfortunately, the service was extremely slow and the food below average, with an industrial, highly processed taste. There is also a lot of unnecessary single-use packaging. Relatively cheap, but the low price reflects the quality. We would not recommend eating here.

My family and I waited 30 minutes for our food, only to find that the chicken was stale. I politely asked if I could have a fresh batch, and instead of simply dealing with the issue, the staff responded with eye rolls, blank looks and a very dismissive attitude. We were initially told fresh chicken would take 13 minutes, which we accepted. Five minutes later, we were told it would actually take another 30 minutes. By this point, we had already been in Chefette for around 45 minutes for a roti, chicken and a slice of pizza. I decided to ask for a refund for the chicken and chips. Again, there was no urgency. I stood waiting while the cashier continued serving other customers, despite the staff being aware of the situation. Another 10 minutes passed. I eventually had to raise my voice and say, “I would like a refund”, only to be told that the cashier supposedly had no idea what was happening. Then I was asked for the receipt. At this point, we had been there for almost an hour. I explained that they knew exactly what I had ordered and what the problem was and that I simply wanted the chicken and chips refunded. The refund was eventually processed. The most frustrating part is that I was polite throughout the entire situation. I only lost my patience after being repeatedly ignored and having to explain the same thing over and over again. Making the customer feel like an inconvenience when they’re politely trying to resolve a problem is just unnecessary and unacceptable. Very disappointing experience at Chefette Oistins. The food was poor, but the attitude and lack of basic customer service were worse. Never have I experienced such attitude back in London.

Great place to get fast food. Pizza, chicken, Roti freshly made. Very close to the Oistins nightlife and places to stay.

Update......back again this month. crispy chicken still delicious, good roti, tasty pizza and amazing milkshakes. Nice little treat if your missing your fast food restaurant from home. This is pure comfort food. They serve beef and chicken burgers, crispy chicken, pizzas, roti's and ice cream. The beef burgers don't seem to be as nice as last year when I was there but still okay. The chicken pieces however are delicious! Proper crispy fried chicken like mama use to make. More popular with locals then tourist but definitely worth a visit. You can pre order pizza and theres a drive through here. Staff friendly.
