Lovely terrace with amazing delicious food! I love that the menu is changed weekly and uses local ingredients. I had the Birria spring rolls and the lambs chops. Highly recommend!

Cannot recommend this place highly enough, it’s certainly one of our favourites on Bequia, if not the wider Caribbean. The food is amazing and so innovative. Each week brings a completely new and different dinner menu which, (though the number of choices is limited), is always varied, creative and packed with interesting ingredients and flavours. Getting a reservation here is not always easy because it’s so popular - (we often see the owners and chefs of other restaurants dining here, and I’ve seen the odd food writer here too!) - but it’s well worth the effort. Love the garden style terrace and the open views. Staff are always friendly and they serve some lovely wines. They even stock port too, which is very rare here and a lovely treat at the end of a meal.

When I get to a new place I look at a variety of reviews to see if I can find an interesting place to have a meal. In this case, just a few hundred meters from where our Seabourn cruise tender dropped us, I found Cheri’s and decided to give it a try. I was glad I did!
With a promised terrace that was indeed high enough to offer sweeping views (and overlooking a cemetery!) I was a little concerned because sometimes view restaurants…we’ll, they suck! I was pleasantly surprised that the view was not a gimmick.
After climbing the steep stairs of what looked like an old house, Charlotte, a server who told me she moved to this island from the mainland just a few days earlier, was cheery and servicing all the tables. Although she did not know what all of the menu items were, she brought over a more senior person who happened to be cooking, and she explained everything. Assisted with a local beer (2 actually!) the first of which was super light, dry tasting and most suitable for the humid climate, I found a great combination of items for brunch. The cod hash was really interesting and unusual, and looked as good as it tasted. Ask for some local chilies, and you will be rewarded with some additional heat that really compliments the hash. The freshly baked coconut rolls had a delicate and almost grainy consistency that was very pleasant and not too sweet, but a good match for the rest of the meal. Plantains in this part of the world are always great, and these were well prepared, slightly caramelized, and had a great color be flavor. Finally, the other table, with four a French speaking tourists, was really was raving about the bacon, and it was flavorful, extremely lean, and a nice accompaniment for me. Plus it gave a little bit of extra protein.
Not very expensive, super relaxed, a little off the beaten path and great food… all what I was looking for. You’ll enjoy eating here.

Lovely dining experience with exceptional blend of flavors!! We had the corn fritters and bacon guacamole for starters! For our main meal, we both had mahi with mofongo and pimento salsa - so fresh and delicious. Others in our party got the pork which fell right off the bone and was flavorful and so tender! another got the creamy spinach pesto pasta. Our experience overall was lovely and the mojitos were on point! You must plan to go here if you stay in Bequia because you will not regret it. Not only are the dishes innovative, but the presentation is beautiful. We loved our experience here and you will too!! The menu changes which adds an element of surprise and the atmosphere is romantic and cozy. If you have a large party and plan to get apps, double up, trust me, you will want more and it’ll be hard to want to share. Make a reservation and get ready for a dining experience to remember

An absolute culinary gem in the heart of beautiful Bequia. Beautiful, intimate setting, combined with thoughtful, local dishes cooked with love. You can taste Cheri’s passion in every bite! Faves include her Carrive an nachos (🤤), “Build Your Own Brunch” menu, Tri Tri cakes, crispy polenta, lobster feature, breakfast smoothie, chicken burger + fries, tropical mojito, any of her curries, any of her pastas (especially the lobster Mac'n'cheese). Cheri’s is one restaurant that should not be missed. Vegan and vegetarian options are available, just ask!
