We arrived shortly before 6pm and it was very quiet. The guy behind the counter was super friendly and helpful. We both had the recommended chicken and chips which was okay. As in many of the reviews, it was a bit on the overcooked and dry side but in no way inedible. The chips were lovely and we didn't wait too long for food. There were 10 cats sitting around watching you eat and hoping for scraps but in no way did they make a nuisance of themselves. The beers were ICE cold and incredibly cheap. Both meals(both with breast) and 2 beers was B$55 which is very reasonable. There is a WC onsite however, it is very old but absolutely spotless. It's off the beaten track a bit but, worth a visit to support a local.

I had heard of so many people taking about this place so many times. Personally I thought the chicken was okay and I found the chips to just be bad? Like no flavor all oil? That’s just me, but similar to previous reviewers, my stomach was not well afterwards.

Would recommend not many options of food but the fried chicken is great and the atmosphere peaceful

Best fried chicken I had in my life, really worth the stop! But be prepared to wait 1h at LEAST to get your food. Service is extremely slow, just spend the time having some beers ;)

Very glad to have Googled my way into dinner here on a Tuesday night. Great food, great atmosphere and also great customers to BS with - who understandably keep coming back for more over a couple decades.
