Credit where credit is due. I applied for vehicle finance through cibc and was helped by Binta Burbridge. I have been living in Barbados for nearly 8 months and I have not received a better service than I have from Binta and Cibc. I am very grateful and thankful for how helpful and brilliant they have been. Barbados is extremely challenging when trying to go through certain processes with companies but this was a really hassle-free experience. I am for sure now a loyal cibc customer as Binta and the team has most definitely won me over, I would recommend them to anyone else looking for similar banking needs.

UPDATE: This is an updated review. The only reason i’m giving three stars from a one star is because of Daniel Howard. Daniel was extremely professional and had that bank running like it should be. I am extremely appreciative of the customer service I received from him.
Worst bank I have ever been to. Customer service is non existent. Most unprofessional employees, no accountability. I do not recommend banking here.

I would like to add to the reviews concerning my experience this morning (11/4) at the branch between 7.30am and 8.15am this morning was great. The security guard was pleasant and took time to go along the queue to ask and advice each customer on how they would progress into the branch ie: new account holders, customers wanting teller services etc
Security and staff in the branch were also pleasant and helpful.
In summary, a good experience and hopefully the branch will take on board the other comments/reviews made with regards to previous bad customer service.

have absolutely no consideration for customers. waited 2hrs in the hot sun to be ushered into the bank to be placed in an area to wait over another hour. customers being ushered 2 by 2 downstairs to tellers. Not a manager in sight to explain why the process is so slow. AVOID this Bank at all costs, they do not care about customer service.

Horrible Customer Service. Managers have no clue about services offered. Hours are not accurate. The phone number on their own website and on google search is for another company. I was in line for over a hour outside the bank to be told by an associate that the workers have to go home in an hour, come back tomorrow.
Don't waste your time at this branch. I have been given false information multiple times and everyone seems to push off requests to other employees with no clear answers. All this is just the business side of this branch. The personal is much worse.
