Just fabulous on all accounts. The room was brilliant. The drinks were always quick and refreshing. The pool and beach chairs were great. Food was nice and fresh. The staff got to know you after one day. All details were accounted for. Lovely colored pink and white theme. Lust vegetation across the property. Only 44 rooms so it’s never crowded. Just the perfect place in Barbados. We’ll be back and hopefully see our friends who have been coming 21 years in a row.

I am completely obsessed with this hotel. On my second day and the service is next to none . If I could give it 6 stars I would . The staff are so polite , friendly and attentive without being intrusive . They even sourced me a transformer adaptor power bank because my electrical appliances didn’t work with the voltage difference. No ask is too big for them . The food is exceptional . The aesthetic is gorgeous ; it looks like it’s straight out of a movie . Stunning views . Rooms are also beautiful , with mini walk in wardrobes and candy striped robes . Absolutely gorgeous hotel ; you are making my stay in Barbados truly special so thank you x

The good: great location (can walk to Speightstown's restaurants and bars); clean rooms with good AC and showers; well maintained gardens and facilities; great variety of water sport activities (Hobie Cat sailing, etc.)
The "not-so-good". We found the service adequate, at best. The staff was happy to fulfill requests (e.g. asking for iced water when getting some sun on the pool deck) but rarely (ever?) acted in a proactive manner. And some staff had a bit of attitude (perhaps if you're not identified as a returning British guest, you don't qualify for 5-star service?)
Net-net, it's a lovely hotel in a good location. My recommendation (at least what we did), is to spend your days at the hotel (breakfast and sun/beach) and then head into Speightstown for happy hour, dinner, etc.). And don't be afraid to ask for what you need, as the staff will rarely approach you to check-in and ask how it's all going.

A very beautiful pink-hued hotel, host to the most scrumptious food (lots of lobster), lovely people and service, long white sandy beaches and warm seas. I was particularly struck by the gorgeous smells of the garden (gardenia) and the exotic sounds of the tree frogs. A paradise!

Booked a two night stay prior to a cruise. The most expensive hotel I have ever stayed in and was keen to see what you got for your money. ( £1200 a night )
You get asked to move on your second night to a different room to accommodate someone else.
No I won’t be staying again.
To make it worse the room is no where near as nice as our first room. A definite downgrade at the same price. Shocking. I am so annoyed.
