We really enjoyed our stay at Coral Reef Beach Apartments. The staff were all so kind and welcoming, and we loved that it was away from the busy tourist areas. It felt much more peaceful, and being right on the ocean made the views incredible. There are also some great restaurants nearby, we definitely recommend dinner at Zeerover’s, which is about an 8-minute walk away.
I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re expecting a resort or an experience similar to what you’d find in the U.S. There isn’t hot water in the showers (although the water wasn’t freezing), and there’s no room service. Those things didn’t bother us at all, but may not work for everyone.
Also, there are several sweet cats around the property, which we absolutely loved. We’d definitely stay here again.

This place is a bit more remote on the island, but that ends up being part of the appeal. It feels genuinely local, and you’re removed from the more crowded areas.
The couple (Jenny and Erik) who run the property are truly incredible. They put so much care into creating a space that feels welcoming and easy to settle into. I ended up meeting some wonderful people there, which I think says a lot about the kind of environment they’ve built.
Being right on the waterfront is a huge plus in Aruba — it’s hard to overstate how nice that is. There’s also a restaurant right next door that always seemed lively and well enjoyed.
One small note: Despite the tireless hard-work of Graciela, the property’s wonderful and dedicated caretaker, I did notice a few cockroaches in the room during my stay. I didn’t mention it at the time, so I didn’t give them a chance to address it.
Other than that, it was a really memorable experience. If you’re looking for something relaxed, social, and a little more local — and you’re not overly fussy about small things — this is a great spot.

Fantastic people, location and amenities.
Rooms are simple with ample cooking gear, cozy and quiet.
People are warmer than the weather and as genuine and lovely as you will find.
The location is tremendous, the water is calm, plenty of easy access to local spots and restaurants geared towards westerners (if you want). Local restaurants, bars and stores are very close.
Cant wait to come back, honestly we were tempted to cancel our next Air Bnb and juat stay here for the rest of our trip. Its a difficult place to leave.
Thanks so much Jenny and staff for being so accommodating and wonderful.

GREAT location on the water with its own private water entrance, within walking distance of several amazing restaurants. Staff was extremely friendly and personable. Kayaks, snorkeling and swim gear offered to use for free. Kayak over to Sea Glass Island! Takes under 5 minutes to get over there. 15 minute drive from the National Park. Gave 4 stars on the rooms because they could use some updating. The water wasn’t HOT, but it did turn warm after a bit, would stay again!

Stayed here for week in April or second time at Coral reef and again it was exactly what the doctor ordered. Coral Reef is very laid back , rent a car come n go as you please or hang out and chill there. Use the kayaks to go to glass beach or snorkel all the gear is there to use. Definitely won’t be our last visit!!! 💚💚💚
