This is a business hotel not a beach resort. The staff are excellent. Food is good. Was a good option when our flight was cancelled. Pool is nice. Hotel is across the road from the beach and so you have to carry beach chairs and towels down a flight of stairs to a rocky beach. Entire hotel is no smoking which I very much appreciated. Located next to two very nice bar restaurants

Staff is fantastic.
I had two surprises I have not yet felt like are resolved. After checking in awaiting clearance to fly post surgery. I immediately stepped on glass in the bathroom.
In the morning my reservation - which when booking clearly, in bold print, stated breakfast was included, did not include breakfast adding the cost of an additional night to my 9 night stay.
Shaunae, Shadae, and Shaquille at the desk are lovely, attentive, and very professional. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and large. Generally, the hotel has an air of great service and professionalism.

My booking specified repeatedly in bold that breakfast was included. Upon arriving not the case.
Staff is lovely. Shaunae was super helpful checking me in. Shadae this morning also.
Staying 9 nights to recover from a surgery while unable to fly. Immediately stepped on glass in the bathroom on what was my better side. Informed staff of both these things and they did not have the authority to address either satisfactorily but were very kind and responsive.

Quiet comfortable stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful for being a visitor, offered up suggestions and any help you could ask for. Rooms were nice. Great location for Bridgetown as well as Saint Lawrence Gap. Nice restaurant area without outdoor seating. The patio is nice. Pool area is also nice. Although the pool itself is small, its very adequate for hanging out and relaxing.

I had a wonderful stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Barbados! Shaquille (“Shaq”) at the front desk was exceptional. After I realized I had made a booking error, he immediately stepped in, kept me updated, and worked with his manager to resolve everything smoothly. His professionalism and kindness truly made my stay enjoyable. Courtyard is lucky to have him—thank you, Shaq!
