The best fish in Barbados!! Really good service and atmosphere, the mahi mahi and flying fish are also amazing. Definitely the best fish fry in Oistins market!

Waited nearly just over 60 minutes for food for a table of 8 people once we ordered - Took about 15/20 min before we got served - Food was great portion size, but pretty average food.

First timers. Saturday night. King fish and chicken as mains. Awesome meal! Great service! Sat with some very nice people and enjoyed the sights and sounds of Oistins. Fantastic night out!

Great place to eat at the Oistins fish fry. The lobster was very tasty. Portions are huge and definitely can be shared.

We have been in Barbados for a week and have dined at different restaurants of all levels. On our last day, my significant other and I agreed that we would return to our favorite, De Red Snapper in Oistens.
First, this is no frills. Our order was taken by the most pleasant woman at the window among a row of shack-like restaurants and the seating is comprised of picnic tables. But this is what the Bajans do and it’s where scores congregate on most evenings.
We ordered grilled and blackened whole red snapper. This comes with a choice of sides (we chose plantains, grilled breadfruit and slaw). The flavors are beyond words and I’m sure I will crave this once I return to Massachusetts. Some brief advice. Avoid the Friday Oisten fish fry. It is a sight but crowded and long lines. Also, some of the more publicized Oistens restaurants (shacks) have recruiters that will try to direct you immediately upon exiting the taxi. Avoid those and go directly to De Red Snapper.
