Great set up with the lounge/kitchen area. Sofa a little uncomfortable, but we weren't here to sit on the sofa. Lovely beach with a fun bit of surf. Definitely worth it for the budget compared to others.

Good location in the St Lawrence gap. Plenty of nice restaurants in the area.
The property itself is disappointing. Restrooms in common areas are dirty. We reported that twice ( restrooms attached to the restaurant/ beach area) have still not been cleaned ebbed after we reported it 2 days ago. To think that workers in the restaurant have been using that restroom and not washing their hands with soap - since the soap dispenser was not working, and then preparing and serving food, is very off putting.
The TVs have a very limited channel selection , the restaurants in the neighborhood show sports etc but the hotel has got a very limited selection.
Th bathrooms in the rooms emit a strange chemical smell. Might be the cleaning agents they use.
The AC in the room is super loud - like a jet engine.
There is absolutely zero evening entertainment on the property.
I wouldn’t come back to this place. I’ll look for others in Barbados. This was a real disappointment particularly for the price.

Great location & room was massive & fully equipped. Cleaning avg, reception good apart from one woman who had a crap attitude. Bar staff at Pureocean were shockingly poor, lazy, uninterested & general giving off a vibe of wanting to be anywhere else but there. Ordered cocktails with lunch & it took 25mins, 3 reminders to finally get them just as we finished lunch. Given usual BS as to why but no apology, shame really as a great spot on beach

I had such a great experience at this hotel! Everything was super clean, including the common areas. The girls at the front desk were really friendly and welcoming, which made me feel right at home. The room had everything I needed and was really comfortable. They even have a kitchen, which was super convenient. The pools are beautiful and perfect for relaxing, and the beach is just a short walk away, which was a huge plus. Definitely a place I’d stay at again

We’ve been loyal guests at Divi Resorts for over 8 years, always choosing it for our family staycations — but this recent experience was by far the worst.
The rooms were not properly cleaned or sanitized, with visible dust and general untidiness that made the place feel neglected. For a resort of this standard, that’s simply unacceptable.
What really ruined our stay, however, was the rude and unprofessional management. We had agreed to an 11am checkout, which is clearly stated on the signs behind the room doors, yet we received a call at 10am telling us to leave immediately. When we tried to clarify, the staff were dismissive and downright rude — no apology, no courtesy, no attempt to resolve the situation. Their tone made it seem like we were being a nuisance for simply following the posted checkout time.
After years of choosing Divi for our vacations, it’s disheartening to see how much the service and hospitality have declined. We left feeling completely unwelcome and disappointed. Sadly, we won’t be returning — and I would strongly suggest future guests reconsider before booking.
