What can I say? Nothing good ever came easy. Although parking is spacious, the 'trail' becomes almost unrecognizable about 1/4 of the way up. Perhaps due to how fast vegetation grows in the region or the fact so few dare to make the trek. Finding the cross was easy. Finding the hole. Not so much. Just follow the game trails and you should find it eventually. Be careful though. one wrong step and it could be your last. Breathtaking views though. Almost lost my drone the wind was so strong, definitely a nice way to cool off in the scorching Barbados sunshine.

The views are definitely worth the hike and you would think that you were in a different part of the world based on this geological wonder. Its picturesque beyond words!

If you're a fan of hiking this is definitely a spot you must explore. See my video with drone footage of the area on 'The Bajan Sun' YouTube channel. (Be sure to subscribe)

Beautiful views of the mountains, countryside, and coast. We hiked up from the Chalky Mount trailhead by Lakes Beach on Ermy Bourne Highway. The trail is a little overgrown in places, especially between Chalky Mount and the Keith Laurie Memorial Cross, and it would be very slippery and muddy in the rain, but it's not overly strenuous - though you must bring water, because it will be hot!

The picture hole is a located near the Keith Laurie memorial cross, it's right below it to the left. It's a true work of art by mother nature. If you do visit it, please be careful and do not defile it.
