East Resort is absolutely phenomenal. While my booking was for only a Junior villa, it was absolutely stunning. The sliding doors to the bedroom opened up to a lovely dec, pool and jacuzzi that welcomed the marvelous East Coast breeze inside.
Each of my interactions with staff was pleasant and management were prompt to respond to queries or concerns.
It truly was a great stay. I will be back!

We had awesome time at East. The villa was awesome, as there was also the kitchenette we had the chance to cook our own meals. The view is spectacular.
We had breakfast included, that was abundant and very tasty.
The concierge of the resort is super helpful, she assisted us in booking several experiences within and without the Crane resort.
Warmly recommended to hire a car (you can do it directly with the help of the hotel, it will be brought in front of your villa).
Finally, prices were low compared to the service received.

DONT BOOK THIS RESORT, THE BEDS HAVE BED BUG 🐛 🦟 🪳 🐜 🕷️
I was bitten all down my legs and ankles on the first night I stayed, woke up with itching irritated skin, raw red and swollen areas all down my legs.
Not the best way to wake up in a resort which claims to be on the high-end of resorts!
The manager thought she was doing me a favour when they changed my bedsheets for another dirty infected bed!
I was then bitten repeatedly every night for 14 nights!
It was hell.
I paid for a phone in the Villa, which provided free international calls, but soon as I arrived they told me the phones weren’t working!!!
Which meant I couldn’t make calls to report the issues to hotels.com!
I paid for breakfast everyday for 2 people, which was late most days, and they would forget parts of the breakfast, which was so frustrating.
How can you forget coffee and milk, and expect the person to eat breakfast without a hot drink.
This was a regular occurrence!
The patio doors, when locked didn’t shut properly, so there was a gap between the doors, so mosquitos 🦟 could enter the property throughout the night and day.
I tried to keep the room extremely cold, that I was actually shivering, in order for mosquitoes not to survive inside the property!
But I don’t think I succeeded!!!
I was using towels for 3-4 days in a row, because there was a shortage of towels apparently!
Is this how a hotel resort should treat their guests???
I asked over and over again, but I was told the towels came from the crane resort, and it depends if they have any.
I was told the towels would arrive at 7pm, and would be left in my Villa.
But when I returned, there were no towels in my Villa.
In which case, I used the same towels the following day.
Totally unacceptable.
I WOULDNT STAY IN THIS RESORT!
Why destroy your holiday getting bitten by bugs 🕷️ 🦟 🐜 EVERY NIGHT!!!
Swollen legs and irritated skin!
No way.
Don’t waste your money.

We stayed here for a week, and it was one of the best vacation experiences we've ever had. We had a junior suite with a pool. It was incredible. Being able to just walk right out of the room to the poolside lounge chairs was perfect. We had breakfast included in the room rate, and it was very good.
If you're planning to stay at The East be prepared to treat it more like renting a house, than staying at a resort. There aren't really any amenities unless you drive the 10 to 15 minutes to The Crane, so you can't just walk to get drinks or dinner. There is room service from The Crane but there are set delivery times, so if you miss it, you won't be able to get anything delivered. There are full size refrigerators so you can store a lot of food and drinks. I definitely recommend having a rental car. We didn't mind having to get in the car to go pick up dinner or to go somewhere for a drink.
As long as you go into a stay at The East understanding that there aren't really any amenities, and that it's not near any restaurants or bars you'll love it. For us, the view and the luxurious room was worth it. Every time we went into Bridgetown, St Lawrence Gap, or Oistins we kept saying how glad we were we decided to stay at The East and how it seemed much more peaceful and relaxing than staying on the southwest coast.
