My spring break was spent on the beautiful Caribbean island of Barbuda. I stayed at Emerald Sands, a lovely beachfront cottage that offered the perfect blend of comfort and serenity. Waking up each morning to the sound of the ocean was mentally refreshing. watching the sun rise and set was a memorable view The beachfront cottage itself was warm and inviting, designed with both comfort and simplicity in mind. It featured two cozy bedrooms, each offering a peaceful space to rest after long days in the sun. The master bedroom was especially stunning, with a sliding glass door that opened directly onto the back patio, allowing you to step outside and take in uninterrupted views of the ocean at any time of day. The open-concept layout connected the kitchen, dining area, and living room, creating a relaxed and airy atmosphere. The kitchen was well-equipped and flowed seamlessly into the dining space, making it easy to enjoy meals while still feeling connected to the rest of the home. The living room was comfortable and welcoming, perfect for unwinding while listening to the distant sound of the ocean. Overall, the stay was absolutely amazing. The owner was very responsive to any questions I had, which made the experience even more seamless and enjoyable. I would definitely stay at Emerald Sands Barbuda again. It was the perfect getaway and a truly memorable experience.

Review: Emerald Sands, Barbuda – A Hidden Gem in the Caribbean If you’re looking for true escape, Emerald Sands in Barbuda is as close to untouched paradise as it gets. This secluded beachfront villa is luxury meets nature at its finest. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the privacy, beauty, and peacefulness. The house is set right on one of the most pristine, pink-sand beaches you’ll ever see, with turquoise water that feels like it was filtered just for you. It’s quiet—no crowds, no noise, just the sound of the ocean and the occasional bird or breeze through the palms. The property itself is immaculate. The villa is modern but blends perfectly with its surroundings—spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with large windows and open living spaces that keep you connected to the outdoors. Waking up to sunrise views over the ocean was unforgettable. The kitchen is fully stocked if you want to cook, or you can arrange for a chef (highly recommend this!). The staff and host were incredible. Communication before and during our stay was prompt and helpful. They arranged everything from transfers to meals and excursions with local guides—snorkeling, island tours, and visits to the Frigate Bird Sanctuary. What sets Emerald Sands apart is how remote and untouched Barbuda still feels. You won’t find chain resorts or crowds here—just natural beauty and warm, welcoming locals. It’s ideal for couples, families, or anyone who wants total peace in a high-end, eco-conscious setting. A few tips: • Stock up on groceries in Antigua or ask the team to arrange for provisions. • Bring cash—Barbuda is still developing in terms of infrastructure. • Don’t skip the local lobster—it’s some of the best in the Caribbean. Verdict: 10/10. Whether you want to unplug, reconnect, or just have the beach all to yourself, Emerald Sands is a rare find. We’re already dreaming of going back.

I needed this vacation to relax and recharge and Barbuda did not disappoint. I stayed at the Emerald Sands beach front property, a beautiful clean, and comfortable house with all the amenities needed and with the spectacular Caribbean Ocean view just a few feet away. I enjoyed my morning coffee while watching and listening to the ocean waves. Thanks, Emerald Sands, for your hospitality. I truly enjoyed my stay.

Emerald Sands is an absolutely lovely standalone house on a pristine beach! The bedrooms, kitchen, and bathrooms are all well-appointed and comfortable. The owners and their on-island family are very helpful and happy to arrange car rentals and assist with other needs. Highly recommended for families and work travelers alike. There are not many accommodation options in Barbuda, and this is a gem, so book early!

My wife and I just spent 2 nights at Emerald Sands and absolutely loved it. We were greeted at the ferry by the owner's father, Lynton, a true gentlemen and lifelong resident of the island. The house is isolated but close to Roddy's restaurant. It offers lots of privacy, is newly decorated and well appointed. Its also very close to one of the nicest beaches in world - Princess Diana Beach. While there, be sure to visit Enoch at Shack a Kai and enjoy his lobster!!!
