Great supermarket with an excellent range of products, from fresh fruit and vegetables to local items and imported brands. We were able to find everything we needed. Prices for imported goods are quite high, but that’s to be expected on an island. A special thank you to Roseline, who was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. She went out of her way to assist us and made the shopping experience a pleasure. She is a real credit to the store. Would definitely shop here again.

Had a delightful experience during a small, quick provisioning at this store. The atmosphere took me back to the USA and UK simultaneously. They offer a great selection of both fresh and frozen foods.
However, it’s worth noting that it’s not the most budget-friendly option, so keep that in mind when planning your visit. Overall, a tasty trip down memory lane, but be aware of the prices.

the vibes are off. I frequently go to the one up north (almost weekly) and probably only swing by this one once a year or so. These two stores couldn’t be any more different. The big Epi is always adequately stocked and staff is warm and personable. I tried to pay at the epi in jolly and the cashier just stared at me blankly when I handed her my card. She never even asked for my epi card. I wasn’t really sure how long she was going to keep staring at me blankly so i asked if something was the matter. She just said “ID.” As if I was supposed to automatically know to give her my drivers licence. It was weird. If I lived in jolly harbour, I would still drive to the big epi and avoid this one at all cost. Also the shelves are half empty and they’re selling Valentine’s Day chocolate from a month and a half ago at full price. You wouldn’t even know the main Epi and this one are related, that’s how bad it is.

The store primarily stocks Waitrose products, leaning heavily on their Essentials range. Be prepared for extreme markups, as you will pay more than double what these items cost in the UK.
Beyond the pricing, the customer experience is incredibly unwelcoming. Expect to be treated like a criminal from the moment you enter. Management prohibits you from carrying even a small purse containing just a phone and sunscreen. Instead, you are forced to leave your bags unattended on a table at the front of the store while you shop. To top it off, they actually demand to see your ID for basic grocery purchases like bread and butter. This is not an exaggeration.

Waited almost 30 minutes in line only to find out at the register they don’t accept contactless payment. No sign, no warning, nothing. Completely unacceptable in 2026. Basic customer experience issue that wasted my time. Fix your payment system or at least inform people before they stand in line.
