The bay street esplanade is a great place for evening recreation.the view of the beach is excellent. I recommend this beach walk for anyone either on holiday or local .there are beanches to sit and at different time of the year the area is used for musical bands celebrating events of Barbados .Which can be access through the events callender of Barbados.A bit of historical information was left to give one insight of area.so after a long history to the millennium do enjoy .

Located in Carlisle Bay near Bridgetown is the Esplande that leads to one of the best beaches for swimming in Barbados. The Esplande is an open area with a bandstand and seating area and a small carpark close by overlooking the beach and sea. This is a great way to walk to Bridgetown along the sandy beach. The sea here is calm and the water is warm and is great to go in and just to relax. On the beach are loungers and parasols that you can hire for the day at $40 BDS (£16) for two loungers and a parasol. In these areas there are toilets and showers for your use that are at the back of the beach. The pics are genuine photos of the beach at Carlisle Bay.

A relaxing oasis outside of the hustle and bustle of Bridgetown (Capital City).
