Leighenne appeared as professional all the way until the morning of my wedding day. After the wedding, it was proven that she is a scammer and you do not get what you pay for. Events by Leigh charged us for things that were never done and she acknowledged it but refused to offer any compensation or even an explanation as to why things went so horrendously wrong and instead said "You'll get over it eventually". Her contract even points that you would need to pay for her legal fees if you have an issue! Decor, Layout vendors etc were planned weeks and months in advance, she had all items she needed weeks before the wedding and the venue was available for her an entire day before the wedding day. However, they chose to set up my wedding at 3:30pm when they KNEW my guests were arriving at 3:00pm. When the actual day came she did not even bother to show up! She sent her uncoordinated team members to execute her duties and did not say anything about it! Turns out she double booked our wedding with another one. She acknowledged all of this but instead of an apology her response was "You'll get over it as time passes, weddings are never perfect". When asked why the groom never received the boutionaire WE PAID HER for, she refused to respond. IT HAS BEEN MONTHS. Unfortunately you needed to pay her everything before the wedding day so you are left with a legal battle if you want ANY compensation as she will just admit she messed up with no explanation as to why and then ignore you afterwards! Every time I think about my wedding, Events by Leigh and Leighenne's lying, horrendous attitude and the unprofessional manner my wedding was handled is there in the background of my thoughts. This company is absolute scum and looking back I would pay for them to STAY AWAY.
