The public ferry terminal to Anguilla.
Exit fee is 7€ per person and they take cards.
Ferry is 30$ per person cash only, each way. You pay on the ferry. It would be nice if they had a credit card option. You cannot pre-book. it is walkups only.
You need your passports and there is both departure immigration and security.
0830 cutoff for the first ferry but when we went we arrived at 0810, the queue was quite big and the ferry actually left at 0900.
There is very limited public parking nearby.
Ferry ride itself is 20 mins.

Everything went smoothly. I wanted to share some helpful details for others traveling to Anguilla from Marigot.
Timing: On a Tuesday in shoulder season, it took exactly 50 minutes to stand in line, show my passport, get my luggage ‘checked’, and get my ticket. Some reviewers mentioned a 15-minute wait, but the lines were quite long for my 1:30 ferry. Maybe earlier ferries might have less of a wait.
So, I left my grand case hotel at noon, was dropped off at the port at 12:30, boarded at 1:30, and was ready to explore Anguilla by 2:45 if that is a helpful timeline.
Luggage- I had a carry-on, backpack, and a bag of random items I’d thrown together. You can have your bags stored at the front of the boat and not have them examined at the port before departure. If you’re bringing alcohol or other items, put them in your ‘checked bag’ for storage at the front. They still ask you to declare items upon arrival in Anguilla and I did, but I was waved through. I think it was because I only had a bottle of wine in my backpack. I’m not sure about their policy, but people had lots of items, bags, and luggage. If you’re staying a few days in Anguilla, it’s not like airports with size and limit restrictions for luggage. Just make sure your checked bags are zipped, and carry only what’s valuable or in an open shopping bag in your lap on the ferry.
I hope these waiting details and luggage/wine situations are helpful to others.
The ferry ride was smooth, and as others noted, it takes about 20 minutes to Anguilla. My ferry was packed to capacity, so I would be hesitant to wait too close to the ferry leaving to board.
Also worth noting, there are restrooms, snacks, drinks, and alcohol for purchase after you clear Marigot customs at the port. However, another passenger bought a mixed drink, was told she could drink it on the ferry, and then it wasn’t permitted when it was time to board. So, if you’re buying alcohol to drink for the ride, you should pass.

Very crowded. We arrive at Friday 8:10 thinking we could get the 8:30 ferry to Anguilla. Sadly the lines were crazy and very messy. Who workes there couldn’t give clear information and people skipping lines all the time. Prepare to arrive in advance, maybe it depends on the time and the weekday.
Taxes are paid card or cash before boarding. 7dol pp. In the boat you pay 30dol pp in cash only. The trip is fast 20/30 minutes

Quite easy. Ferry to Anguilla you can go and purchase tickets on the go, ferry to St. Barts is cheaper if you purchase online but it's in French.

Actually you pay on the ferry, but you grab a “pass” from the window that allows you in the boat, then you check out thru French immigration and pay the departure tax ($5us). You then wait in the departure area until boarding.
