A must see and experience when visiting St. Martin. Great little island with two very good restaurants. The water is very warm. And can have a small hike to the side including snorkelling. A 10 minutes or less boat ride over to the island for $12USD.

The price and efficiency of the ferry is the only reason I gave it 2 stars, otherwise it would have been 1. There's no organization, no signs where to go or who to pay. Just some guy in a tee-shirt, no emblem and when I asked where to go for the ferry, he got angry. Extremely rude staff but we have no choice, other than private charter, so....

Quick and easy! Definitely recommend getting there early to catch a ferry (they leave every 20-30 mins)

Serviced by a gentleman named ‘Pan Dulce’. Very friendly and helped us with our trip to Pinel Island. The ride is very short and smooth, it is $12 per person round trip and the last boat leaves Pinel around 5:00pm.

Round trip from the boat launch to pinal Island cost $12 per person first boat starts at 9:00 a.m. I believe and last boat leaves approximately 4:00 p.m. back to mainland from pinal. The boat operators are friendly. And the boat didn't sink, it's in good condition it holds a lot of people and it got you from point A to point b without fail. Not much more you can say than that. Seriously if you want to go to pinal you have to rely on these boats. I believe they have two or three that are in service there
