A really fun activity, which we did for my birthday at the end of April. It’s best to do this when the river is high. So it’s best to check the conditions before you book. “Monster” was our guide (along with “Jack Sparrow”, if I remember correctly), and he handled it all very professionally and with a good sense of humour. Another tip: it’s best to do this with a few friends… Afterwards, there’s a changing area. Our car was also – without a hitch! – brought to the arrival point. I highly recommend this! It was a lovely change of pace from our road trip through Grenada.

Booked this as a cruiseline excursion. I would recommend. The drive to the location was spectacular with a couple of stops for photos. The tubing was more intense than I expected but great fun. You leave your stuff on the bus which you meet at the finish. There are changing facilities at the end should you wish to change into dry clothes. I have attached a photo of nutmeg which we got to see on the bus ride

So much fun! I was a little nervous at first since I don’t know how to swim and wasn’t sure how deep the river would be, but the guides were absolutely amazing. They stayed with us the entire time, guiding and helping every step of the way. I felt completely safe, and they made the experience so much fun. They truly go above and beyond to make sure everyone has a great time. Highly recommend!

My wife and I had the absolute PLEASURE of going on the waterfall excursion with our guides, Beetle & Danny. The guys took us to three different waterfalls which we rode to in the back of a pick up truck equipped with comfortable seats and bars to hold on to. As we worked our way across the island to each of the different falls, our guide pointed out important landmarks of Grenada, explained about their way of life, and educated us about the agriculture of the island as drove up through the mountains, down the countryside, and along the eastern coast making this not only the adventure of a lifetime seeing waterfalls— but also an amazing tour of Grenada. For the waterfalls, Seven Sisters was little bit of a hike down a hill and was muddy, but Beetle went above and beyond to make sure no one tumbled down the hill, holding hands and guiding us on the best pathway through the rain forest to the beautiful waterfall where we could relax and take a swim. We also waded through beautiful streams to get to the waterfalls and he skillfully guided us through and went out of his way to take pictures of us in the falls. This excursion was our favorite part of our trip and we HIGHLY recommend adding it to your stay on the island to get a feel of the island from those who know it best!!

I went tubing with Funtastic. What a disaster. In February, the water in the river is VERY low. "Tubing" was being pushed down the river, over boulders, by the staff who spent the whole time splashing you and yelling "WOOOOO" to try and simulate an exciting time. Have you ever been pulled over boulders in a tube? My gosh, is that ever painful and dangerous. They shouldn't be running this activity when the water is this low. Shame on you Funtastic. Too worried about making a buck and not worried enough about your clients' well-being.
