I initially had a poor experience with my first installer who fitted the PV panels to the roof satisfactorily but then abandoned me when he couldn't get the system working (!) I had brought down from the UK for our new build home a fixing kit and 36 x Trina/Honey M+ MONO 320W - Full Black PV Modules – which were arranged as 8 on southern aspect and 28 on western aspect of the verandah roofs of the house. I also brought down six US2000B PLUS PylonTech / ZTE Lithium Ion 2.4kWh batteries. As I wanted a local warranty on an inverter and controllers , I purchased from Williams Solar one Schneider Conext SW 6848 120/240V Inverter, two Schneider Conext MPPT80-600 Charge Controllers, one Schneider Conext XW 60 – 150 charge controllers to cover my 11,500W output, one Schneider Gateway multi function communication gateway needed to set up the system and one Schneider System Control Panel to monitor things. After hearing my tale of woe, Williams recommended that I contact Terrence at Goldfield Solar. I found Goldfield Solar an excellent company to deal with and they installed all the equipment to my satisfaction - leaving cabling neatly boxed. Any minor queries after the installation, about interpreting readings on the SCP were quickly answered. I am now fully off grid with plenty of daily power and then battery power for both nighttime use and local power black outs with my proven hurricane proof secured PV panels. I still have a switch that can connect me to the grid if necessary for which I pay just $10 dollars a month! Finally, my MG ZS EV gets all its power from the system too - so I drive for free!

Goldfield Solar was recommended to me by a friend who has had a lot of experience with various solar companies. The team was professional, punctual with delivery of services, accessible and reliable. They were effective in having the system up and running within a short space of time, which required consistent follow up on their part with the Barbados Light and Power and the GED. To anyone considering solar system installation, I would highly recommend Goldfield Solar. You will not be disappointed!

The team was very professional, explained intricate details about the system and delivered on time. Even went as far as to contact the local electric company to push for follow up with the final provisioning. Highly recommended.
