The food was very good with a lot of variety. The only reason I didn’t give it a five is because we had bbq one night with a group and their stake wasn’t a very good cut. The staff however, has been awesome. Very friendly and just great attitude.

Food are very good and high quality, view is amazing. But best attribute to this place are the staffs, particular Michelle. Had dinners 3 times in a week, it kept drawing us back.

I’ve never had such an horrible service here on Bonaire. We arrived at 20:30 on a Friday night, we were 3 persons and it took more than 10 minutes to get the attention of the waitresses that were more busy talking to each other and looking at the tv than looking at their guests. I must say I really don’t mind waiting and I understand island vibe but it was very quiet evening with only a few tables with people. We asked for the menu only to get told that the kitchen was closed but they could do fried snack. My friend order sweet potatoes fries and they arrived quite fast, even before the drinks, but really covered in mayo and cheese.
When the drinks arrived at 21:00, a mistake was made so we told the other waitress who started to be arrogant by saying it wasn’t her mistake and that we had to speak to her with respect while we were never aggressive to begin with. It was quite a disappointing evening and I doubt we will come back to this place.

We had an incredible week here on Bonaire and visited Windsock Beach Club several times during our stay. We came at different times of the day and tried breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and BBQ. The food was always fresh and delicious.
The service, unfortunately, was usually very slow. Sometimes it felt like no one noticed you, even to say hello or check on your table. It could take quite a while to get a menu, drinks, or food, and once, our food never came at all.
Since we were on vacation and enjoying the relaxed atmosphere of the island, we jokingly called it “the island vibe” and assumed this was simply the norm here.
Then we had an experience with Gregory, and everything was completely different. He was smiling, friendly, attentive, and constantly making sure everything was taken care of. If he noticed that we were still waiting for something, he immediately followed up and made sure we received it quickly.
Gregory truly stood out from the rest. He is absolutely excellent at his job and provided the kind of service you hope for when you visit a place like this. His attitude and attention made such a difference to our experience.
Hopefully, his employer knows what a great employee they have in Gregory. He definitely deserves to be recognized!

The Grand Windsock Ocean Club is next door to where we were staying. We had seen folks over there and wanted to explore what it had to offer. We walked through the gate, and the first thing that caught our eyes were the big wood chairs made out of natural wood. The place was very welcoming with several choices for seating and service. There was a full service bar and a cute BBQ made from a repurposed delivery vehicle. Kids were playing in the sand while parents enjoyed drinks and the ocean view. We made our way to the pier that had two chairs that were perfect to watch the sunset. We will return later in the week to get a drink and have some of the delicious BBQ that was being prepared on the grill. I will add more when we do.
