Greaves Grocery Store is a unique grocery option in SVG, especially for visitors or anyone with dietary restrictions. Coming from outside the country, I appreciated that they carry products you can’t find elsewhere, including a familiar brand, Bowl & Basket, which offers items most similar to what you’d find in Canada or the USA. The store is small, and the selection of fruits and vegetables is limited and can be pricey. Sometimes they run out of basics like milk, chicken, or eggs, so I found myself making a few stops at nearby stores to get everything I needed. The lines can get quite busy, especially when some customers pay with cheques or coins. On the positive side, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the store is well-located across from the Joshua Centre with onsite parking, and they even offer a student discount, which I was able to use during my stay. Remember to bring your own grocery bags. Overall, a convenient and valuable stop for certain specialty items despite being small.

Oh how I missed their raisn bread! And I benefitted from the student discount they gave. God bless them! Even though the discount was small, it still counted. Generally, their prices were affordable and student/budget friendly. They have the best bakery in town. Far better than buying bread from Massy.

Trinidad and Tobago is a very beautiful country. It's really attractive for tourists. If you have not been there yet, I encourage you to do so. Good luck!
