Funky little beach bar on the Roseau waterfront. It seems to be open on Sundays when things are generally closed in Roseau. Cocktails are decent, the service is friendly, and the food does the job.

The view is pretty nice, you get to see the sunset if you go there around that time. We went for drinks and wanted something to much on, like wings, but they stated that they only had wings as a meal and it could not be prepared separately (we ended getting peckish after drinking but didn't want a whole meal each, only wings and they apparently can't prepare or serve wings only, which is so weird ), so I can't comment on the food.
Also you're not allowed to charge your phone there, there's an actual sign that says that. That's crazy to me that in 2026 that you can't charge your phone at a bar/ for spot 🤣🤣

We stopped here during a cruise ship stop in November 2025. Very neat place… they bring the beach to you with a sandy floor. Menu is authentic with a wide variety of choices. We had some drinks and the fish fingers and Chicken Roti. The flavors were great and hot and fresh!

Good food, small portion for $30 USD. Had the Mahi Mahi, and fries and 2 beers. LOL 2nd plate was Lamb with white rice another $30 USD. With an additional 10% service fee. Literally one of the few places open since no ships were in town. Area is very empty/limited food location open when no ships are around. Whole place is a ghost town in Sundays.

Despite being just across the street from the cruise ship port, we ended up at Hi Rise for a late lunch. We had wanted to eat a bit more 'local', but we were still getting our orientation on Dominica and missed all of the snackettes (which seemed obvious after our lunch).
While definitely catering to the mostly western cruise ship crowd, it was a welcome oasis from touring Rosseau by foot.
The sand floors and easy island music was a great touch. Pricing and quality was what I'd expect for the area close to the cruise ship. The meal hit the spot and gave us the energy to move along back to our place in the mountains.
