Aptly named Hidden Gem is a beaut. Guests get the five-star treatment at this luxurious, tucked-away little guesthouse not far from Oistins and yards from the sea. Nothing is too much trouble for co-hosts Anne-Marie and Ameena, who happily go the extra mile to ensure their guests have the best time. Individually themed rooms are styled to perfection, and the beautifully shaded pool is the perfect place to chill. Breakfast here is a treat and if you’re dining in, the king prawn curry is a must. Delicious rum punch is never in short supply! A real find.

I stumbled upon this resort looking for breakfast, and I was quickly seated with smiles from the welcoming staff. The resort is beautiful and has a very tranquil vibe. I was seated next to the pool and was quickly served fresh coffee and opted for the Caribbean breakfast. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and I devoured every last mouthful. Highly recommend! Thank you all.

Thank you Ameena and Ann-Marie for a lovely stay at your Hidden Gem. It was the perfect place from which to explore the South and East of the Island, especially my favourite Woman’s Bay, and come back to a cool, beautiful oasis of calm. Everything was just perfect (especially the omelettes for breakfast!). Xx

This is a very interesting B&B with beautiful unique rooms. Ann-Marie and Ameena are the most gracious hosts and there is nothing that they can't do. When our flight home was cancelled at the last minute they scrambled to accommodate us. This is much more than a typical B&B. They have a wonderful cook with an extensive menu of meals which were delicious. It is a 10 minute walk to the Silver Rock Beach for swimming, relaxing, or watching the world class kite surfers.

My friend and I first tried the restaurant attached to the hotel for lunch. Ameena, the manager, was so accommodating. She checked in to ensure when we were coming and even helped direct us to the hotel and restaurant (we were walking from Inch Marlow and somehow got lost). She then cooked lunch for us (delicious) because the website had mistakenly listed lunch being open on a Sunday when they usually just do brunch. There is a chef for dinner. But Ameena’s food was excellent! Ameena even acted as our ride home (we were 4 min from the hotel). Just lovely, personal service. Rudy is the bar tender and every drink he makes is with loving home made care. Takes a little longer than the standard drink fare but he is freshly squeezing juice, muddling things and chopping up fresh fruits. Probably the best drinks we have ever had. Today we returned for a day guest pass. Rare during high season, the hotel offers day passes if they are not fully booked. Call ahead or WhatsApp to see if available. Passes are reasonably priced and include a limited lunch menu, access to the pool and towels. Very quiet, lovely poolside that has kite like coverings over the pool so you can be in shade or sun. Service was phenomenal and food and drink quality were fantastic. Highly recommend but don’t tell too many people as this really is a hidden gem.
