A very pretty place with good food. It's a little on expensive side, I think. We tried their curried eggs(my fav), chicken biryani, chicken 65, hara bara kebab and channa chat. Channa chat is not actually like what we usually get in India but instead it's a chickpea salad. Other than that everything else was good. Their plating is also very good but the quantity of food is less for the price. Attached to the restaurant is a boutique. Clothing and jewellery is really good but again expensive. Overall a good experience, would love to be back here

Highly recommend House of Jaipur. Loved the authentic India vibe throughout the restaurant and also the fact that it is a boutique as well. Beautiful crafted housewares items, accessories, and clothing.

The Tea Room at the House of Jaipur in Limegrove was a delightful find. Alongside serving exceptional food, the venue features a selection of beautiful Indian apparel and décor, making it a vibrant and unique space to explore. The tea room itself is vividly colourful and ornate, as one might expect from an Indian-inspired setting. The customer service was exceptional. What stood out for me was the care taken to explain how to eat a particular dish (pani puri), which eased the potential embarrassment of navigating something unfamiliar. The food was outstanding. As my brother aptly said, it tasted as though an Indian grandmother herself was in the kitchen preparing the meals. Unlike the often “Bajanised” versions of Indian cuisine I’ve experienced, this tasted truly authentic. I suspect the head chef is Indian, though I may be mistaken—but the quality speaks for itself (and he's not hard on the eyes at all). I had the Jaipur dahl with flatbread, and it was so good I told the chef I could live in it. Again, I also tried the pani puri ($20), which consists of deep-fried breaded spheres you fill with potato or chickpeas—a common street food served with a variety of sauces. The dish, served with three pieces, was incredibly flavourful and fun to eat. The prices were very reasonable; our bill for two came to about $150, which is excellent for a restaurant of this calibre in Barbados. I also recommend purchasing the chips (I forget what they're called)—they serve some at the beginning of the meal, but trust me, you'll want to take a bag home. Five stars from me!

We ate here 3 days ago. They didn’t have a full menu and only had a few items that they wrote down on a piece of paper for us without pricing. We ended up ordering 3 of the same item which were mahi fish nuggets (about 6 very small pieces - so small that we had to order multiple ones!) and also had an order of shrimp tacos (2 small tacos). We also ordered a sprite, water and a tea. I was shocked to see the bill was $236 BB or about $120 USD. Beware this place is expensive for what it is and we never got a menu or pricing but also would have never thought it’d be a lot based on the food, service, and portions. Beware!!!

We loved the setting with only 3 tables and feeling very personal. July being quiet we were the only ones dining and the attached shop didnt have any customers during our visit. We ordered veg and lamb samosa plus another small plate meal to share as our starter- all was nice but the lamb samosa was a little dry. They were fortunately accompanied with some chutney which was nice. One of our party ordered some raita which you would think would be readily available- even after prompting it still took 30mins to arrive- the samosa was now cold and just got returned. All four of us had a main with rice and naans. My Rogan Josh was good but parts were cold and others hot- didnt see a lot of cooking happening but i saw the microwave being used- guess mine was heated in this- maybe they are cooked off site and reheated? That wouldnt have bothered me but just makesure stirred and heated thoroughly. We came away happy but not with a rush back feeling- such a shame
