This spot haslovely views over the City of Castries. It commemorates the win of the Inniskilling Regiment of Foot over the Incredible local rebels who held off the British Navy for over six months, determined not to be returned to the British and so, re-enslaved. There is yet to be a monument here marking their bravery. You can also find the grave of Nobel Laureate Sir Derek Walcott here and nearby, the grave of Saint Lucia's other Nobel Laureate, Sir Arthur Lewis
