Great picturesque location on the beachside in the centre of town, food was some of the best we’ve eaten in St Lucia! Fish is caught fresh and cooked up that evening for $30 USD per plate, paired with $3 beers - incredibly reasonable value & quality compared to other spots. Easy to reserve a table via WhatsApp also. I’d 100% recommend!

Island Chef is a great spot for a solid meal in Soufrière. The food was delicious and well-priced, making it excellent value for money compared to many places in the area.
One thing to keep in mind — it’s a good idea to book a day in advance, as they can get busy. Also, while hours may say they’re open until 10 PM, they’re not always open that late, so plan accordingly.
Overall, great food, good pricing, and definitely worth a visit!

I never usually leave reviews but this was by far the best meal we had on our trip to St. Lucia. As a vegetarian it’s not always easy finding options on the island but this place offers both a fish and a vegan meal. One of my sisters had the fish and my other sister and I chose the vegan option. It was absolutely delicious. I couldn’t recommend it more!!! We also really appreciated the music they were playing. The chef and his son are lovely. Don’t forget your bug spray if you’re going in the evening. Merci island chef 👨🍳

Don't underestimate the Island Chef by the looks of the snackette style building and outdoor seating. This restaurant is a farm/sea to restaurant joint - with the chef going to the local markets each day for the meal of the day.
No menu - your options are vegan or fish. The prices are definitely higher end, but the very friendly, stylish, barefoot chef made us feel welcome. Worth it. So nice to see such a place on the island - you get the feeling you're supporting the community while you get served an amazing meal!
Get there early to get the best views for sunset ... and definitely make a reservation, otherwise you might not get a seat or the food for the day already gone.

Food was perfection! It is farm/sea to table with a vegan or seafood option. No menu but a daily special depending on what was available. I had the tuna and it was delicious! Everything was cooked to order so it was hot and a very beautiful presentation on actual plates with silverware, no plastic anything. There were 9 of us and each meal was perfect! The owner and had his son, who was helping serve that afternoon run a top shelf establishment! Water front with great views in the heart of the town. I definitely would eat here again!
