Food was perfection! It is farm/sea to table with a vegan or seafood option. No menu but a daily special depending on what was available. I had the tuna and it was delicious! Everything was cooked to order so it was hot and a very beautiful presentation on actual plates with silverware, no plastic anything. There were 9 of us and each meal was perfect! The owner and had his son, who was helping serve that afternoon run a top shelf establishment! Water front with great views in the heart of the town. I definitely would eat here again!

Kind of a novel eating experience. My fiancé and I walked up and asked for a menu and the chef said “No menu, you get vegan or fish and I bring you magic.” Seemed good enough for me. 10 minutes later the magic arrived and magic it was. The chef made a plate of tuna with a bunch of sides and it was delicious. The spot next to the ocean in town was great ambiance.

Don't underestimate the Island Chef by the looks of the snackette style building and outdoor seating. This restaurant is a farm/sea to restaurant joint - with the chef going to the local markets each day for the meal of the day. No menu - your options are vegan or fish. The prices are definitely higher end, but the very friendly, stylish, barefoot chef made us feel welcome. Worth it. So nice to see such a place on the island - you get the feeling you're supporting the community while you get served an amazing meal! Get there early to get the best views for sunset ... and definitely make a reservation, otherwise you might not get a seat or the food for the day already gone.

This was a wonderful experience. Dishes are beautifully presented and you can feel the love and the effort towards it. You can choose from vegan or fish St. Lucian style cuisine. There is a very welcoming atmosphere, the chef is really friendly, he makes you feel at home. It's a small restaurant, so it is better to reserve a table. I have to mention the view that is quite spectacular. Highly recommended.

Speedo came highly recommended by the locals during my stay, and I had to indulge. First off, I love that it's by appointment only, and that he only prepares for who is coming so that no food is wasted. That also means that everything is fresh. The food in general was perfect (choose between either Fish or Vegan dishes), and regardless if you're staying in the Soufrière area or not, this is somewhere you need to go, and food that you need to experience. Especially for the price ($35 USD), you can't and won't go wrong.
