James Store has disappointed on numerous occasions. We gave them multiple chances because of their wide selection of products and normally friendly staff, but the quality of their tools and materials is terrible. Their string levels don't measure level. Their carpenter's level is also off. Their 'Stanley' measuring tape broke on the first week of use. Their hair cutting kit doesn't cut hair. And the last straw was a role of 400' rope that turned out to be at least 6 separate ropes when unrolled. In all but the last case the staff laughed us off. In the last case they only offered a 25% store credit, but we won't be wasting our money there again.

Will deliver cases of bottled water. James is a very kind and conscientious man. Variety store. Not the place to come for groceries unless you want pantry items. Average beer selection. Needs better organization and signs.

The biggest mix of random things you might ever need (think american dollar store + small hardware store + basic furniture). Guy who fixes fans is here. Make sure it works/is not expired before buying. Will deliver (small fee).
