I think this was one of the best meals we had on the island. The restaurant was closed, but they kindly opened just for us. The family is absolutely lovely, and their daughter speaks English. The food was delicious, true comfort food that makes you feel right at home.

Everything was a delight from the atmosphere, the place simple decorations but colourful and cosy, the people family who runs the business were warm and kind and lastly the food OMG it was unreal!
A 3 course menu at 25€.
As a starter we had the accras (the batter was so light I could eat a dozen of those!) and the fried fish called balaou and oh my the seasoning was perfect!
For the main we had the poulet boucané (chicken seasoned and grilled) again the seasoning made everything! And the fish thazard both accompanied with local homegrown vegetables they were very flavourful!
And for dessert the flan coco and sorbet coco I loved the flan it was not too sweet and very light!

Great Food and Atmosphere, great service from the ladies! 👏👍 The only downside is the Owner/ Order Taker, he seems nice yet he behaved rude with us when we asked to share one Menu (3 courses) because it's too much food for us and he almost slammed a hand on the table and shouted that people come there to Eat, if we don't know what we want than we can Go....we were hungry, sweating, he did not understand our French English very well and than this episode, I was about to make a scene and have the biggest shoutdown of my life if he wouldn't lower the voice down....soo rude! 😤😠 Remember this my friend, every customer entering your door is important, there will come days when you wish someone would sit down in your Resto! 🙏😔 Au revoir! 👋

Very fresh and flavorful food. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the curry sauce was the best we've had. Ordering was a bit of a challenge with our poor French, but they were very friendly and helpful. Wonderful location, and highly recommended.

Beautiful family run business - super friendly, authentic and rustic environment, traditional amazing local food. The family were an absolute delight! My favourite food place during my Caribbean visit. High recommend
