As a first-time visitor to Barbados coming all the way from Canada, finding certified halal food was a top priority and M&E Delux delivered beyond expectations.
The meat is hand-slaughtered halal, officially certified by the Barbados Halaal Authority (BHA). The certificate is proudly displayed in-store, so there’s complete transparency for Muslim diners. No guessing, no compromise.
The food itself was fresh, flavourful, and generously portioned Mashallah. The staff and owner were very friendly and welcoming, exactly what you want when you’re far from home.
If you’re a Muslim traveller visiting Barbados, or simply someone who values ethically sourced, quality meat then this is your spot. Highly recommend to fellow Canadians and international visitors alike!
