This Massy had a lot of similarities to ours back home in Trinidad. Need some time to get accustomed and learn the exchange rate based on cost of similar items back home. One big difference is the fact that they don't offer plastic bags in-store. We actually had to walk back outside and purchase plastic bags from a vendor for $1 EC each. Didn't have much interaction with the workers but the ones who we did, they were very receptive.

Massy will have most of what you will need but it's kinda dirty and there are limited cashiers so there are sometimes long lines

I shop at Massy Stores regularly and it’s one of the best supermarkets around. The cashiers are genuinely friendly and polite - makes a difference when you’re doing a big shop. Product selection is excellent with a wide range from local brands to imports. Shelves are well stocked and the store stays clean. If you want quality + good service, Massy delivers.

A good supermarket to shop for your basic groceries.
Customer parking is small and sometimes no space is available.
