My stay at Gilly’s Airbnb in the Bahamas was truly wonderful from start to finish. The space was spotless, very well maintained, and incredibly comfortable. You can tell a lot of care goes into keeping the place clean and welcoming. Everything I needed was there, which made it feel easy to settle in and enjoy the trip. The location was another highlight. It’s just a short walk to the beach, which made mornings and sunsets effortless and relaxing. Being able to go back and forth without needing transportation really added to the overall experience. Gilly was an amazing host. Very friendly, responsive, and genuinely kind. He made me feel welcome right away and was always available if I needed anything. Most importantly, I felt safe the entire time, both in the property and in the surrounding area. The Bahamas is safe, so don’t let anyone scare you otherwise. If you’re looking for a place that is clean, comfortable, well-located, and affordable, this is exactly where you want to stay. I would absolutely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Bahamas.

I had a wonderful stay at McGregor House! The value for money was truly excellent. The space was immaculately clean and tidy, and everything felt relatively new, which made the room feel even more comfortable and inviting. The air conditioning kept the room perfectly cool, and the shower had strong, consistent hot water. The space was well-equipped with all the basic amenities you'd expect—TV, kitchenette with a microwave and refrigerator, lock safe, and utensils—which made it feel like a cozy, self-contained retreat. The hosts were also very responsive and nearby if anything came up. The location was another highlight—just a few minutes' walk to the beach and local attractions. The gated property added a welcome sense of security. Overall, McGregor House offers incredible value, comfort, and convenience. I’ll definitely be back!

I stayed here for a few days to do the famous swimming pigs tour — but honestly, I wish I had stayed much longer. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful. They picked me up from the airport, showed me around part of the island, including where the beach is, and shared lots of useful tips that made my stay so much easier and more enjoyable. The hospitality was truly above and beyond anything I expected. The accommodation itself is spotless — very clean and well taken care of. I felt comfortable and welcomed from the moment I arrived. This place really made my trip special, and I can’t wait to come back. Highly, highly recommended!

I booked this apartment for 4 nights as a solo female traveller. When I arrived at the property I was met by the property manager who asked for my name and when I told him, I was standing waiting for a bit while he went off and he eventually told me to come and told me they had double booked and therefore no room for me to stay. However instead of being informed about this before leaving my country of departure so I can sort another alternative in a timeline manner instead I was sent the instruction of how to get into the property etc the day before my arrival only for me to arrive, put the code in to enter the gate and be told there was no room for me to stay. I was a solo female traveller, arrived late evening and it was my first time in the Bahamas. I then had to find another hotel locally which cost way more when in fact I had booked the villa well ahead of time. Very disappointing because this should never happened where a guest is unable to stay as a result of overbooking. When I checked in to the hotel I eventually stayed I was informed by front desk this is a regular occurrence.

Had the best time staying at Gilly’s place. Felt right at home the neighborhood was really safe. Love the fact it was gated and you needed a code to enter. Gilly gave us recommendations for food and Taxi service, which were phenomenal. This location is less than 5 mins from beach & 10 mins walk to the Fish fry. we loved Oku sushi it was our favorite spot this was about 10 min walk but so worth it. We loved Goldies it was so delicious. We stayed here for 8 days and had the most memorable vacation. Can’t wait to come back
