Meat Max on Carmichael Road has potential, but the customer experience needs real attention.
The atmosphere could be far more welcoming. A simple “good morning,” “good afternoon,” or even a smile goes a long way, yet most of the cashiers come across as unhappy or disengaged. That energy transfers directly to customers, and it doesn’t exactly make you want to return.
Customer service overall feels lacking. When asking for assistance, it often feels like you’re being brushed off or redirected without much care. That kind of interaction leaves people wondering what’s really going on behind the scenes.
Pricing is another concern—it feels inconsistent and, at times, unreasonable for what’s being offered.
At the end of the day, businesses should aim to create an experience that makes customers want to come back, even if it means driving out of their way. Right now, that experience just isn’t there—but with the right improvements, it definitely could be.

This is a convenient, spacious grocery store located in the densely populated Carmichael Road area. The store carries a large variety of items and serves as a one stop location for household items. The prices might not be the best but they make up with convenience. The store seems to take the security of its customers seriously. There is a security guard as well as an off duty armed police officer on duty daily.

For me, a convenient location, although the surrounding traffic is a turn off. The small meat packages are great for small families and budget friendly.
