It was the worst place I've ever stayed. I spent one night and was so glad it was only one. Everything looked 100x better online. The room was extremely cramped. Literally a kitchenette, a bedroom and a bathroom. No living space. Inside the cupboards were filthy with cobwebs and what looked like bug eggs and feces. Dead bugs on the floor. Pillows on the bed were extremely flat. Grounds in dire need of maintenance. I couldn't wait to leave. 🤬

Because it deserves more than a 3.5 star rating, the place is not bad very quiet, and the owner is a very respectable man. Many of you deciding to look for a place should show support

The host is fantastic, can't beat the price. We felt safe and comfortable the whole time. Also the pool is amazing to have to come back too after a long day of adventure

The surroundings were quite breezy and relaxing. There was sufficient outdoor seating as well as pool area which were clean. The room was adequate with sufficient resources for the family and I to enjoy the day.

I cannot think of giving this place even place a piece of a star but it wouldn't allow me to upload my review. The owner is very hostile and very disrespectful to his residents ye wants the to pay a crown and a pound for a fire hazard of a guest house. My parents stayed here for a month and it has just been one hell after another. I went there with my Hubby and children (10 yrs, 21 months) for a 5 minute visit to return my parents laundry and say hello. Upon entering the property my hubby and children were address by the screaming owner " WHOA WHOA WHOA, YOU, YOU AND YOU. WHO ARE YOU". Before anyone could answer her saw my and realized who I was and who I was here to see. Without asking any f us any questions he goes over to the pool where my mother was sitting with a friend who had come to visit her and start shouting at her and absolutely disrespects her telling her that she cant just bring people her without telling him anything, and that we have to pay $20 per person when we want to visit her there. he continues to go on in this loud attacking manner for another 20 or so minutes and is in my mothers face yelling about how he was disrespected and that she is to never do it again. They argued and my mother then got more an more offended so she then starts to talk to him about how he should have carried himself and dealt with the manner since she herself has worked in the hotel and tourism industry here in Barbados. he continues to shout at her telling her that she only paid for a room and not for the use of the facilities and that he was never formally introduced to me ( which is a lie). he knew me from the time before that when they stayed there for 2 weeks and he drove me from by the corner store to the apartment because i was walking in the mid day sun. he also has had long conversations with me about a place in Canada that his wife if from. Anyways he continues to yell in my mothers face and she made a point to him that he refused to acknowledge. she asked him " why is it that when her friends of white complexion come to visit her multiples times for more than 2 hours at a time he says nothing and pretends not to see them but when her black family comes he treats them like garbage?" He refused to answer but said that its his property and those are his rules. Continuing to verbally abuse my mother he tells her that she cant bring guest unless she registers them through him. Yet the other residents said they never registered the 20 children and their parents for the party they had just 2 days before and the said the owner was completely fine with it. He then started to shout a my father until my mother said that she wanted a refund of all her money and that she will do everything in her power to keep people from going there and risk being treated like skum. He then starts to calm himself and talk but by that time my mothers guest felt so uncomfortable that she left and said that she wasn't coming back. Mother was so upset that she had to leave the place just to get away from him only to return and here him arguing with his wife which only made everyone more uncomfortable. He has yet to apologize as he believes he has done nothing wrong. Up to now he still has yet to fix the apartment my parents ave been in which mind you doesn't have a bedroom, the AC keeps leaking and the electrical outlets are a fire hazard. the WiFi only works when they turn it on and the cleaning service keeps taking my parents dish clothes. the shower curtain was never safely secured and made my mother trip in the shower but instead of behaving in a civil and orderly fashion the owner was disrespectful and ill mannered. i would advice that anyone coming to Barbados for a vacation please do not stay at Mignon Sunshine apartments. This place is not worth the money. This place is not the sunshine anyone wants around them on their vacation. if google wasn't so kind i would ave posted this with no star. the owner needs to remember that his little business is nothing without its clientele. Absolutely distasteful and down right shame to this island.
