We had a great time at Monkeyland in the Dominican Republic! The ride from our resort was nice and it was nice to see more of the country along the way. Our guides were excellent..friendly and with us from the moment they picked us up until they dropped us back at the resort. The monkeys were definitely the highlight of the trip. They came right up to us and seemed very well cared for. It was such a fun and unique experience interacting with them. We also really enjoyed the coffee and cocoa-making demonstration, which gave us a chance to learn a little about local products and culture. We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the Dominican Republic!

This was a fun and exciting excursion. The ride was about 1 hour from our resort and our guide Ruddy was amazing and provided a guided tour on thr ride as well as excellent information on location. We loved the coffee and cocoa making experience as well. The monkeys were so friendly, soft and light. My wife just loved having them run up and down and hopping from one person to the next. Ruddy the tour guide deserves a raise! Top notch guy.

Very positively surprised by this place. We had monkey handlers Anthony and Romero (Not 100% those are spelt right) and they were just amazing, so much time was spent with the monkeys, and there was no pressure to pay for pictures, we did anyway as it was $50USD for 50 pictures and they were really lovely. I would recommend for all ages however young ones do need to be able to follow instructions. Very educational, we learnt all about the monkeys and where they are from and had a truly amazing time! The lunch afterwards (included when we booked) was also actually very tasty and fulfilling.
I have done other ‘monkey tours’ before in several countries and they always felt rather rushed and like you had to pay for extras and there was none of that today it was a really lovely day.

This was a great half day trip with the kids. We got picked up and dropped off from our hotel which took about 40 mins each way. Once there, it's about 1 hour with the mokeys and 1 hour touring a Dominican house and seeing how the locals make coffee and cacao. You are able to take your phone for pictures but bring a lock to lock up personal items as they try to charge you $5 for a lock. Our driver and tour guide Erickson and Gary were really nice and overall the kids really enjoyed themselves. They also sell professional photos for $50 but not pressure to buy.

We visited Monkeyland in Punta Cana and, while the monkeys were lovely and cute, we were a bit disappointed with the overall experience. We had previously visited a similar attraction that offered a much better and more interactive experience.
This place is quite small, and the visit mainly consisted of a staff member bringing out a few monkeys for guests to take photos with. It felt more focused on making money than on providing visitors with an enjoyable or memorable experience. The monkeys themselves were the highlight, but overall, we expected much more.
